We made the Atelier Velvet Ankle Boot for the gap between what looks right in a photograph and what actually survives a month of use. Sizing runs true. If you are between two, the smaller usually settles better after a week. Construction is deliberately simple. Fewer joins, fewer seams, fewer places for it to fail. Care: store somewhere dry and out of direct sunlight. Avoid solvents and alcohol-based sprays.
